Abstract

Abstract. The article provides a justification for the prospects of international social entrepreneurship in the regions of the Russian Far East bordering China. The author has established the negative dynamics of the creation of international joint ventures in Russia as a whole and in the Far Eastern Federal District ver the past 5 years. The process of developing this sector in the economy and changing its sectoral struc-
ture is considered in detail. The relationship between the quantitative growth of joint ventures with the intensification of cooperation with the border provinces of the PRC and the severance of Russian economic relations with the countries of the European Union and the United States has been proven. A high share of Russian-Chinese enterprises (30 %) in the Far East has been established, which is facilitated by numerous
favorable socio-economic prerequisites and factors.
